My name’s Grace, and I’m a junior Screenwriting major and Television minor at Chapman University. I’m spending this spring semester of 2015 abroad at the Collège International de Cannes in Cannes, France. This is my first time going abroad, so I’m super excited!
A few tidbits about me:
I’m originally from Mariposa, CA, a tiny town just outside of Yosemite – think a cross of Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls and Mayberry from The Andy Griffith Show.
I knew that I loved writing from a very young age. Instead of carrying around a favorite stuffed animal or blanket like most small kids, I brought my trusty box of magnetic letters everywhere and would try to sound them out and arrange them into words.
Hopefully the title isn’t misleading – I’m just bad at titles and do not, sadly, have any plans to bike around France. In fact, it is safer for everyone involved if I stay as far away from bikes as possible. I’m quite clumsy, especially on wheels, and have a tendency to end up in different types of foliage whenever I go biking.
In my free time when I’m not writing or studying, I enjoy reading anything I can get my hands on, tipping over during yoga, collecting and cooking vegetarian recipes, and Skyping with my cats back at home.
